Famous Scientists
  1. Robert Boyle
  2. Robert Boyle helped create a fundemental part of Chemistry. Roberty Boyle discovered that pressure and volume were related. He observed that when the pressure increases the volume decreases and vice versa. An example of this would be when a syringe is being pushed down on a marshmallow it's volume is smaller in comparison to, if you released pressure on the syringe since, the marshamllow would expand.

  3. Louis Pasteur
  4. Pasteur helped develop the modern day germ theory. He learned that bacteria was the root cause of illnesses. And he was the creator of the process of pastuerization. He noticed that harmful microbes and bacteria will die if you heat up milk and water at high temperatures thus, starting a new process to help reduce Salmonella and Cholera.

  5. Dmitri Mendeleev
  6. This chemist was the creator of the famous Periodic Table. Dmitri would organize elements in categories and arranged them using the atomic mass. He predicted that there were more elements undiscovered so, he left spaces for new elements to be placed such as Gallium.
